@cdsmith the space is used to determine if the record update is done via a HasField instance or not, see the last paragraph [here](https://hackage.haskell.org/package/record-dot-preprocessor). I'm pretty sure the accepted GHC...
I think [what I did there](https://github.com/cjay/vulkan-engine/blob/master/src/Lib/Utils.hs) has the correct matrices for Vulkan, I'm not 100% sure though. The scale function would also be a good addition.
