2.3, 2.4, 3.1... no difference at all 10% GPU load with ncnn/Vulkan and 50% GPU load with Pytorch/CUDA I wonder where is the bottleneck?

I'm talking about overall "GPU activity", dunno what exactly it means. Maybe it's completely not relevant to the perf. difference. Anyway it's 5 fps vs. 15 fps, (for 1080p source)

"ncnn with CUDA" mentioned above is only missing one layer (Interp) for running RIFE, as far as I can see if it will immediately get "magical" x3 perf. improvement then......

Not 100% sure about the patch cause there's strange color blinking sometimes (not always, just in some scenes) when the filter increases frame rate. Maybe I'm missing something important here...

it doesn't happen on every inserted frame more like some frames occasionally lose this DoVi data

Same here, on a RK3588 box all HEVC and VP9 videos show green screen when using "HW" decoder (i.e. mediacodec-copy). It works with "HW+" (i.e. "mediacodec"-non-copy) though, but it's kind...

(*) "curves can occasionally change multiple times in one scene" - what I mean is: w/o applying DoVi curves, raw colors in 1st frame are more, for example, pink-ish then...

I must mention that it works in MPC-BE.

looks like this happens with a yuv420p output and doesn't happen with, for example, nv12 still with nv12 it hangs a few minutes later like there - https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/11721 (with various...

dunno, this happens with any source frames, any resolution if this matters, I'm using YV12 input and NV12 output
