the filter currently only applies to empty lists. as soon as there is a content related all kinds can be added.

after another hour of debugging I found that filterValues() needed to be recursive after all as the forms were structured correctly but the values were not (they were ignored completely...

Switched from using stdClass objects to array and got rid of a whole bunch of notices and strict warnings
