I ran the software some over the weekend. It seemed to be pretty good, except on a few occasions it did not see the device. A reboot solved the issue....
I am also using that same screen. Change your resolution to 1024 x 624. Great screen, crappy default resolution.

Gotcha I use a small keyboard with a track pad on mine. Bluetooth speaker for audio.
