I have a GT 320M in a HP laptop and last time I tried (probably last year) it was recognised properly and supported by nvidia-340.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback. I'm using gstreamer 1.22.10.
I now have gstreamer 1.24.8 and the problem is gone. Thank you all for your input.
