I have made changes to the codebase to work with python 3 as well as python 2. I tested it without fortran on Ubuntu 18.04 and Python 3.6 and 2.7.
We are hosting an IPython notebook under https, thus we can no load from "http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/...". We downloaded D3 and THREE.js locally, but still can not get elegans.js to work.
