This been the case for me too. driving me absolutely crazy tried on both mac + docker 1.18, ubuntu + docker 1.17, same issue. task stuck at "running" doesn't give...
any update? this could be major issue if you're sending data from web server and when there is some problem with td-agent so that this logger totally block whole web...
