I get freezes when alt tabbing in and out of the game, bringing up the steam overlay. I'm on Kubuntu 20.04 with the latest stable Nvidia drivers

Hi, this is probably because `python` is setup to run python 2 on your system. This looks like its a python 3 script. Try running with `python3`
