This is still an issue.
I only got this problem when I tried to use client.captureException outside of a try/except block.
You may need to handle the pre-fork nature of `uWSGI` and force post-fork event sending using `uwsgidecorators` like `postfork`. We had to do something similar when enabling tracing for Honeycomb.io....
