Hi there. Would be nice to locate the save and config files under XDG standard. https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/xdg-user-dirs/ It will be easier to handle the game in packages for distributions :).

replace winsound with crossplatform function

It would be nice to replace winsound with a crossplatform library. It runs nice under linux without the sound code.
