The `hypot` function is now enabled by default with #392.
Just checked this. This still happens although rarely. For seeds 0-29 (inclusive), bad regime selection only happens once (seed 12).

Awaiting nightly run and disabling of egglog
I'm a fan of merging it since it keeps things monorepo if we start deploying it elsewhere. Agreed that it's not well tested either way.
This should be merged ASAP to get nightlies running again
