Events that start at midnight show all day

I have an event that starts at midnight and ends at 4:00 am. On the calendar, for that day it has the event filling the whole day.

On iOS it works great, but on android I have to touch above the textfield to activate it. Any fix for this?

Do you have a way to disable the right side menu?

When I use this code in android I have issues with it displaying the first time I go to that screen. If I navigate away and then back it displays....
