The library is working for me with next.js (react 16.3, created with create-next-app), which does SSR by default. Which SSR library are you using @DAreRodz @tanguyantoine ?
Same here with version 3.1.3. Cmd windows every 10 seconds. It leaves the computer unusable for any purpose other than serving.
