@ghostsquad no problem, I've contributed once to the project in the past. I'm a huge fan of the project and worked with a very large (5 million+ issue) JIRA project...

@030 I'll see what I can do. It's been a bit since I've had a production JIRA to play with, but I'll try and setup something against my own instance...
As a library adherence to environment variables would be out of scope.
