Rolling back to 5.1.0 fixed it for us.

this is what we were seeing before downgrading, so maybe not quite the same, but I had hoped it would help out! 

I'm having the same issue. I'm on mac using Node 20 which is still definitely the default for most people. Not everything is supported on Node 22 yet. 

I wonder if we swap to using [dvsekhvalnov/jose-jwt ](https://github.com/dvsekhvalnov/jose-jwt) to get it working. IIRC Jose works on the edge

Hey there! Have been spinning trying to see if this would work, but guessing since it's an active issue it isn't possible yet! Is this something that may be coming...
