Maybe we should create a fork as something like `photon` is needed in the electron world.
We (python – https://github.com/exercism/xpython/issues/272) are facing the same question. Did you come up with a solution in a different place than this issue?

4096 bits does run into the same error. We are using `oscrypto` via `pyas2lib.as2` ... will try to find some time to work on a minimal setup to reproduce this.
