I just reviewed [http://www.creativebloq.com/illustrator/create-perfect-favicon-12112760], But I'm not able to reproduce issues you mentioned ( @infomaniac50 ). I think its better to commit new link (under creativebloq) to update cheat-sheet.
I understand you have a lot on your plate, but out of curiosity: Is there any update on this? Can I do anything with the failing checks in the meantime?
