If you want to set a view type to a specific db-type, eg movies or episodes, ..., you could try to enable the experimental force viewtype setting in skin settings...

This seems to be a bug, but I have never been able to reproduce it. Therefore I can do nothing, sorry.
I took another close look at it. It is not the channel info, but the OSD from the music section... Seems to be kodi related, but i will see, what...
