Curious whether anything came of this. Aside from Synchrony.jl, I haven't seen a Julia implementation of magnitude squared coherence. 
Is there a plan for this? Do you need an extra pair of hands? I’d be willing to put some cycles in.
Hm... how big an improvement over the current GPU code might realistically be achieved by a reasonably solid re-implementation? I might have some cycles for this later in the year.
I added it to a project that I started a couple years ago, and just returned to. @DiemenDesign, if the other maintainers are MIA can you bring @claudep on yourself?
