So I was actually able to remedy this by adding more entries to the cacert.txt, per this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9270195/python-ssl-issue-with-oauth2 Note this appears to be more of an issue for httplib2...

An alternate you might consider trying that we've had success with is simply creating a DebugStore whose only responsibility is to log payloads.

Definitely down to just do in-memory zustand for now, tracking as a `lastAction` attribute of some kind makes sense, putting it in Zustand makes it more immediately testable.
