Note that there's one caveat with project creation using VS Code C# Dev Kit. You can choose the Aspire Starter app template, but you cannot choose the 'Use redis' option...
@joperezr are we missing an additional feed? It seems that 'dotnet new aspire-starter' doesn't work using CLI with above steps.
The error seems similar to an issue that was reported earlier as well - internal Bug 2048871.
Elena and I investigated today and it seems like a possible feed permissions issue. But still, we have two machines that Elena and I setup - she can still reproduce...
@joperezr @marcpopMSFT with the correct feeds applied, we seem to still run into this issue about 50% of the time, even within the same Command Prompt session as you can...
@mitchdenny thanks for calling this out. I'll work with our validation team and see how we can improve our test coverage for this scenario.
@BillHiebert @vijayrkn should we open an issue on VS tooling for this? I'd expect that updating NuGet packages and doing a build should trigger a restore when needed, no? cc:...
