Good luck @mceykes, I've successfully upgraded my XPS 9570 BIOS to [version 1.13.0](https://www.dell.com/support/home/hu/hu/hubsdt1/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=fpcc0&oscode=wt64a&productcode=xps-15-9570-laptop) using the method described on [this Dell support page](https://www.dell.com/support/article/hu/hu/hubsdt1/sln305230/flashing-the-bios-from-the-f12-one-time-boot-menu?lang=en). No Windows was necessary.
