Just curious, but making everything 2x bigger means that the sprite sheets can get pretty big. Is there some sort of upper limit as to how big a sprite sheet...
I am not a programmer so I do not know if this is any easier, but instead of full blown multiplayer, how about a 'social feature' whereby players can upload...
I also remember that the raising your shield will also block hits from behind. Is it feasible for the block area to be an arc in front of the hero?...
