We're running with the JIT enabled, but DFG and FTL JITs disabled. I'm running experiments now with DFG/FTL enabled, initial results aren't showing any perf improvements in feed rendering but...
Yeah, that's true. I'm testing just for the initial renders of feed since that's the metric most important to us, but it'd also be great to do a long-running-app test....
I think we should actually keep this open to make sure we explore DFG/FTL under longer-running conditions.
Thanks James! (An important thing I already noticed in my investigation is that there isn't any noticeable negative effect before those JITs kick in.)
I don't think we can directly add View here. What does approximate positioning information mean here? Is there any other information we can give off the View? Another thing we...
Hey @Fs00, thanks for the report and simple repro. I'll put this on our backlog, however we would also take a PR if you're interested in tackling it yourself.
I'm unfortunately not surprised about this, however I don't think we are going to have time to work on fixing this in the near future. I'd suggest to either try...
Hi @Fs00 - I agree, I think this was probably an oversight. Would you be interested in sending a PR to expose this for HorizontalScroll in the same way it's...
The setVerticalFadingEdgeEnabled/setHorizontalFadingEdgeEnabled calls are just on View so even though the impls are different, you should be able to make basically the same call as in VerticalScroll (i.e. setHorizontalFadingEdgeEnabled on...
Hey @ezbzprog1, are you able to isolate this to a more specific issue and potentially propose a fix? To investigate it, I would recommend putting a breakpoint in the onScroll...
