Yes, it does work now. However, when the reply is sent, it makes the notification sound one more time which could be a little distracting to the user. Great work...
After setting it to true, it's still making the notification sound. I even added `onlyAlertOnce: true` to all the notification channels in `example/lib/notifications/notifications_controller.dart` of the example app.

The developer seems to have abandoned the project. There are better alternatives that also support iOS and can hide the volume UI. I would recommend using this one - https://pub.dev/packages/perfect_volume_control...
