Maybe it worth mentioning to others - happened to me as well, but with [react-virtualized](https://github.com/bvaughn/react-virtualized) elements, inside my component. Setting parent position to "fixed", solved the issue.
@droegier Have you found any solution for coloring the text only after some mention was selected? Maybe using some king of a regex?
