All sections have a default selectedIndex of 0. This means that even if a section is not selected, its 0th item is selected, which is not true.

Set a Container within a LinearLayout with a weight of 0.5 and another List or something with a weight of 0.5 too => Child views arent's rendered.

Container padding seems to reduce/move the canvas area handed to the child view. So if the container has padding, it will clip the child views.

Will not work with cursor data sources, since it assumes frames are all pre-generated

Things like scrollposition etc that a layout may care about should be saved into the savedInstanceState
