It's also possible that something was changed with monerod which is why the pool is not working. In that case, the code is broken and would need major revamps.
Do you have boost downloaded and added as a reference?
As mentioned on other issues, this project is broken and abandoned now. Please look for other alternatives. I've updated the README to reflect this.
