I think a progress bar should be achievable. Just to check though – in the current version, are you seeing the indeterminate spinner while it transfers, or just a pause?

This is some good research, thanks for sharing it. I'd love to get the time estimations and model previews working again on the printer without having to use FlashPrint.
Hi, as @kfbest mentioned, the first thing to check is that you've got the printer in Camera mode. If that doesn't work, there are some steps you can follow here...

It looks from that log that the file was correctly transferred to the printer - The printer checks the integrity of everything we send it to, and the app screws...
Oh, also: If you want to isolate the slicing from the app, you can drag the gcode file from cura in to flashprint, and use it to transfer without re-slicing.
