This bug seems to still be present in the SteamVR 2.0.1 beta.
Tested this on the SteamVR 2.0.1 beta today, bug is present in that version too.

It did also used to spam the console with performance warnings (2 per frame) about performing operations on images in `VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_GENERAL` but those got fixed at some point.

@Kinokin I've added a new commit which addresses this. Let me know if you find any other deprecations which need fixing.
