UUID for models in mysql

Is it possible to set uuid's as primary key for mysql models? I can't find any information about this on the wiki but I guess it must be possible?

I'm having some problems showing the right labels on the x axis. For example, even this line of code that comes straight from the gem page, only shows '300' on...
