👍 I would also like to have this. :) maybe I can start with a PoC when I have spare time.
I tested with sox to play a mp3 stream and figured out to install additional package on the rpi: ``` apt install libsox-fmt-mp3 ``` then I can play a mp3...
Also tests are running without ```F```
Changes are done. Feel free to check again :)
