hot reloading is not working for v3 alpha.1

I have cloned the repo on master (3.0.0-alpha.1) and install dependencies with node v6. Everything executes fine but when I modify any React component the hot reloading does not work...

dir configuration is not clear from README

I have created a json config file as described at http://requirejs.org/docs/optimization.html#wholeproject but it is not clear what should be set as "dir" property. Maybe you should add a sample directory...
