Yes, agreed. This "feature" should definitely be removed or at least make it an option. The original icons looked just fine on a darker background.
I have the same problem. No matter how many documents I have in the collection, it only displays constantly 10 items, no matter what is the perPage value and scrolling...
I'd say the project is abandoned.
