Not sure now.
Just happened again, right after loading a game. Not alt-tabbing since I started the game for sure.
I'm not sure, I may have disarmed that soldier. I think it's a bug in AI. Not doing anything is the worst thing that the soldier could do.

There's the 32-bit variant. I suppose something needed it.
Now that you posted the link for the file, I could try to implement architecture detection.
Unfortunately I can't recall such details.
With this switch it builds fine. :)
