hey, I would have guessed, that it could be something like filecache remnants, but the difference in size is exactly the same as the size of the data you added...
there would be 3 possibilities: 1. Nextcloud reserves the space without acutally using the space 2. Nextcloud just shows that the space is used but it isn't 3. Nextcloud uses...
i understand that it's not showstopper, but still there should be at least some warning
