I am experiencing the same issue. I can not find a proper macro to use that will let me compile my project. I keep getting linker errors

This helped. for linux `sudo apt-get autoremove default-jdk openjdk-11-*` `sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk` worked like a charm

Good to know that it works. probably just need to document how to enable it
