Request: lock per branch option instead of global lock

I wish this was implemented as well... Without this feature branching workflow with git LFS has very limited application for projects that use feature/stabilization and hotfix branches.

When working from different machines, files that are checked out by me don't get set as writable

Any update on getting this in? My team is about to start using this plugin and this issue might hit some of us. I for sure use different machines even...
