The coverity report was for version 2.6.9 but I believe I can trace the same path in the current master branch. I'm not sure how to include the report here...

The build system needs updating as the updated dependencies require more recent versions of node. Specifically, chalk v4 needs at least node 10 (which is now the oldest LTS version).
