Is it possible to support QMK firmware?

Forgive me if i have a term wrong or im asking for the wrong thing, i'm not well versed with this. I'm wondering if it'd be possible to support QMK...

UI very slow, wallpaper improperly scaled

running on Debian. The program takes a few minutes after bootup to launch. Once open the UI is also extreamly slow to react, selecting a wallpaper and clicking apply also...
