Custom Claims set by `db_pre_request` not available when using supabase `storage`?

![Architecture](https://github.com/supabase/storage/raw/master/static/architecture.png?raw=true?raw=true 'Architecture') Given this architecture that supabase uses for storage, storage api calls won't go through postgrest, therefore no db-pre-request to be executed, how do you overcome this?
