I just tried it and couldn't reproduce. Did you used to log in with github before and it worked, or was it the first time?

The feature of listing the 5 latest timeline events to the digest depends on #117
There's a "How to run locally" section in the README.md file. Have you tried running the steps there? If so, was any of them unsuccessful?

So, keeping only the docs of the latest stable version and the git version is better. If so, I believe changing URL's to more informative ones is enough. Something like...
