[Feature] In-game indicator of recording status

A floating text somewhere out of the way that says if it's recording or not.

even a simple red glowing circle maybe placed somewhere.

You could place it within the hud and it would be pretty inconspicuous would always be visible to the camera as long as the hud is visible.
It could have its own panel (I know im not using the right unity word there) that it sits in which would allow it to be toggled visible to the the camera... and i guess movable

My votes for the simpler cleaner attaching to the in game hud as an indicator light.

Since Counters+ supports customer counters, would it be possible to use Counters+ to accomplish this? More info for devs, if it helps.

Added floating window UI in dev branch. I do like the Counters+ idea though.
