Hello, issue should be closed. Header `host` is automatically added in the method [HttpClient.openUrl](https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/blame/69666dc283500aad48d3449706ec2e7f715d837f/sdk/lib/_http/http.dart#L1336-L1349) which is used under the hood in [IOClient](https://github.com/dart-lang/http/blob/f0a02f98f7c921e86ecc81c70f38bb6fbccc81b9/pkgs/http/lib/src/io_client.dart#L88) class.
