0.54.2 and earlier run fine in Wine as long as .NET 4.0 and XNA are installed. Currently, I haven't had any luck getting 0.55.2 running in Wine. Installing .NET 4.5...

[Updated Wine crash log](https://github.com/P3D-Legacy/P3D-Legacy/files/3720095/2019-10-11_crash.log) for version 0.56 ... Seems to be audio related again. The loading screen appears, but the title screen crashes when it tries to play its music....

There should be a way to run it natively on Ubuntu using mono (thanks to mono-basic's mono-vbnc package) but I think it needs to be compiled in a certain way...

It's written in VisualBasic. Porting it to C++ with better-supported libraries would basically mean rewriting the entire game from scratch, and at that point you'd be able to build it...

It doesn't make sense for the Wii build to show 8 players though, right? Can the console itself even connect with more than 4 controllers at a time?

I see that this is still "too big" of a lump of code changes by itself. I shouldn't have merged all of the little changes together into one big commit...
