Yeah. Actually the code is not structured in a favorable way for AI platform. https://cloud.google.com/ml-engine/docs/packaging-trainer#project-structure I guess only a major refactor/rework will fix this issue. :(
This code base is not designed to do so but I think it is doable. Could you please describe your concrete use case?

+1. I was trying to run it in `nvidia-docker` but cannot find devices. It runs fine without docker. Wonder if there are any debug logs we can get.
