You either use Targeted Immunosupressants or Neuropozyne that lasts for 1 minecraft day. You can change your max tolerance in the config too.
It's in your %appdata%\.minecraft\config folder under the name cyberware.cfg. Open it with notepad and change the "Maximum Essence" value to whatever you want to.
I'm not sure where Curse puts it sadly:/
I have the same problem. It just swaps it back to left every time I change it in the settings menu.
Just make sure you are really close when you cast them. They like to be cast from 1-2 blocks away
