Understandable ;). I am not sure how workable your changes are without the UI options you mention, but I can try it out with some of my tracks, why not.
You are absolutely right, the example file was actually the only file in a group that *did* upload correctly - oops. The others do have a name, but defined outside...

I had the same issue, restarting the server did not fix, but reinstalling findroid did fix the problem. Android 14, CalyxOS 5.14.2, app version 0.15.3, jf version 10.10.3
