Same here, I am using 0.17.2 I am not sure how to reproduce this issue, but there is around 1% of our users are facing it immediately after startup
I tested this, and works great, only thing that is missing from the setup is the javascript side. here is an example of what worked with me (straight forward)
@ElSierra what library do you use? is it expo-blur?
sorry for being too late for this. can you please test it again with latest version of both this library and expo-blur, because I tested it and had no issues

if this is solved, it would be probably the #1 library to go for shadows. will try to solve it
