The boost path used wchar_t on Windows. On Czech Windows there was an error: the resulting utf8 string has odd chars, that was incorrectly converted back to wchar in boost...
Please, it's possible to add support for recursive monitoring? On Windows there is argument `bWatchSubtree` (see [here](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa365465%28v=vs.85%29.aspx)), which is set to FALSE for now.
